StruCell® P300 is the highest-density grade of the StruCell® structural PVC foam core series, with a density range of 290-330 kg/m³ (Technical Data Sheet: Density 290-330, Max.). It is a closed-cell, cross-linked PVC foam developed for sandwich structures that must carry concentrated loads, high bearing stress and demanding fastener pull-out requirements, where lower-density cores would require thicker sections or additional local reinforcement.
High bearing capacity: TDS average values of 7.6 MPa compressive strength and 5.9 MPa shear strength - the highest values in the StruCell® range.
Stiff sandwich design: 450 MPa compressive modulus and 450 MPa tensile modulus help limit deflection in highly loaded panels.
High strength-to-weight ratio: approximately 300 kg/m³ density with tensile strength of 11 MPa (TDS average).
Closed-cell structure: low resin absorption and low water absorption for marine and outdoor service.
Process compatibility: hand lay-up, spray-up, vacuum infusion, resin transfer moulding and press bonding.
Machinable: kitting, grooving, perforating and CNC-machined parts available - see CNC custom PVC foam parts.

P200 and P250 values are the published StruCell® series values; P300 values are Technical Data Sheet values. For a full density-to-property overview, see the PVC foam core density chart. If a lower density already satisfies the design load, compare StruCell® P250 and StruCell® P200.
Highest load capability in the series: 7.6 MPa compressive and 5.9 MPa shear strength (TDS average) allow thinner cores, fewer inserts and simpler local reinforcement.
Built for stiffness-critical parts: 450 MPa compressive and tensile modulus support highly loaded panels and tooling.
Consistent closed-cell core: uniform cell structure for repeatable resin uptake and bonding in infusion and RTM processes.
One supplier, full range: from StruCell® P130 up to P300, so you can tune core density across a single structure.
StruCell® P300 is supplied with the surface formats used across the StruCell® range, selected to match your resin system and process:
Plain board - for hand lay-up and flat press bonding.
Grooved board (single or double sided) - for faster resin flow in infusion; see grooved PVC foam core for faster infusion.
Punched / perforated board - for through-thickness resin flow.
Scrim board - with a fibre mesh backing to hold core alignment on curved moulds.
Hyperbolic (double-curved) board and custom surface treatments for complex geometry.
| Item | StruCell® P300 |

Other thicknesses and board sizes are available on request. Send your panel drawing, required thickness and surface format and we will confirm feasibility and lead time.
StruCell® P300 carries the same certification package as the rest of the StruCell® structural PVC foam core series:
DNV·GL certified (certificate no. TAK00001DV) for marine structural applications.
UL94 V-0 flame-retardant rating.
RoHS compliant.
Manufactured under an ISO 9001 quality system, with batch records and traceability.
Certificates and test reports are available on request for project documentation.
MOQ: no minimum order quantity.
Samples: free A4 samples for testing.
Lead time: 5-7 days for small batches; 15-20 days for full container quantities.
Support: free core selection advice, prototype development, CNC programming assistance and lamination process optimization.
The Technical Data Sheet states a density range of 290-330 kg/m³ (maximum value). This makes P300 the highest-density grade in the StruCell® structural PVC foam core series.
7.6 MPa average value and 7 MPa minimum value, with a compressive modulus of 450 MPa average (400 MPa minimum).
Shear strength is 5.9 MPa average (4.9 MPa minimum) and shear modulus is 120 MPa average (100 MPa minimum).
StruCell® P300 is supplied in 15/16 mm, 22 mm, 30 mm, 33 mm and 40 mm thickness, with plain boards at 1300 × 610 mm / 1300 × 620 mm and grooved, perforated or contour boards at 650 × 620 mm. Other sizes and thicknesses are produced to order - send your drawing for confirmation.
Hand lay-up, spray-up, vacuum infusion, resin transfer moulding and press bonding. Grooved and perforated formats are available for faster resin movement in infusion.
Yes. It machines cleanly and can be supplied as cut-to-size panels, grooved or perforated sheets and CNC-machined parts. See CNC custom PVC foam parts for detail.
There is no MOQ - free A4 samples are available. Small batches ship in 5-7 days and full container quantities in 15-20 days.
If a lower load capability is acceptable, StruCell® P250 and StruCell® P200 offer progressively lower density and weight. The StruCell® structural foam core range covers seven densities from 48 to 300 kg/m³.
